Women's Ministry

Karen Gregory

Women's Ministry

Karen and her husband, Rick, first came to Brighton Christian church in 2008 immediately after they were born again into the family of God. The people at Brighton Christian Church are a family to them as they grow more in the likeness of what it is to be like Jesus to one another and to others that we come in contact with in their community.

Karen and Rick have four adult children (Michael, Melanie, Jonathon & Emilie), two of which are married, and they also have been blessed with two grandchildren. Their family has been through many trials and God has revealed Himself in ways they would not have experienced without them. Karen's faith has been strengthened and deepened each time, and she continually leans on Him for everything.

God is first in Karen's life and she has served Him in many ways in which He has called her. Karen has been the Prayer Ministry leader at BCC and also has facilitated evangelism classes and women’s Bible studies. In the summer she has reached out to our community at the Brighton Farmers' Market through prayer and sharing the word of the Lord and she has seen healing miracles and salvation. In the winter she did the same at a nursing home in Howell. For four years Karen has served as the Teaching Director at Community Bible Study day class for women where God has grown her in the area of Women’s discipleship.

Karen now serves the Lord whole heartedly as the Women’s Ministry leader at BCC. She has a passion to teach and lead the women of BCC to encourage and edify one another through prayer and the word of God, to be built up as a solid body, united in faith and love and purpose to see God glorified and to attain the whole measure of the fullness of who they are in Christ Jesus our Lord to be Women Advancing the Kingdom Everywhere and to be disciples who make disciples.
